Video made on our arrival near noon.
12-14” of old snow, with 4” more on top this morning, and coming down heavy at almost noon on Friday January 19th 2024. Wasn’t that much, and roads clear, till we got near Sable’s home. A little difficult coming up our mountain road but arrived safe and sound. Crossing the Watauga River and up the hill. Black Cat, Sable, gets exited when we cross the river.
Over the river and through the woods to Sable’s house we go.

Up the hill past the low water bridge.
At the Black Cat’s mountain home/office
GrandPam filling the bird feeder. I missed one of her feeding her deer.
Out our barn/tiny house picture window.
We are warm and snug.
Black Cat 🐈⬛ Sable verifying that the StarLink dish is good
so GrandPam and The Old Man can work.
GrandPam later walks through about 18” of snow
to move her deers corn 🌽 under the wagon shed
so it won’t be covered with the heavy snow.
She even spoils the damn deer.
Wonderful photos, thank you. And gratitude for GrandPams compassion for wildlife.
